Presidents Message

Greetings,
I am Constance Miles, and it is with great honor that I assume the role of President for the 2023-2025 term at the Madison Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with my Executive Committee and fellow Chapter members as we work towards our goals during this upcoming biennial period.

The focus of the Chapter will be Growth, Commitment and Service.

  • GROWTH – Expanding and Retaining our membership to better serve the Madison community. Developing our programming to address the needs of the Black community.
  • COMMITMENT-Dedicating our time and acts of service to align with the Five Programmatic Thrusts of Delta Sigma Theta.
  • SERVICE-Service is who we are! We engage with our community to raise awareness of mental health, financial stability, international issues, educational priorities and scholarships, and of, course political awareness.

  • The Madison Alumnae Chapter was chartered on August 27, 1977 by 23 dynamic college-educated women. For those new to the Chapter, please take time to read about the Chapter’s history.

    As a chapter, we uphold the overall values and commitment of our Sorority to public service through the programming framed by our 5 Point Programmatic Thrust:

    • Economic Development
    • Educational Development
    • International Awareness and Involvement
    • Physical and Mental Health
    • Political Awareness and Involvement

    The members of the Madison Alumnae Chapter are dynamic college educated women who are Rebuilding In Sisterhood & Excellence in all that we do!
